Cornbread (make any recipe and let dry and crumble)
1 package of seasoned stuffing mix / croutons
2 stalks chopped celery
3 large chopped onions
3 cans chicken broth
2 sticks of butter
2 tbsp. sage
4 tbsp. parsley
2 tsp. poultry seasoning
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
2 beaten eggs

OPTIONAL:
2 cups chopped chestnuts
Cooked and minced liver, neck, gizzards from turkey
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup chopped cooked carrots
You can add any of these to add texture and flavor to the dressing.

Place crumbled cornbread and stuffing mix in a large bowl and allow to dry out. Saute celery and onion in one stick of butter.

Mix all other ingredients and place in a greased pan. Dot the top of the dressing with the remaining butter. Bake at 350º for one hour.
