Personal Notes:
No cooking just eggs to beat and milk to measure. Ice cream brings back memories of Sunday afternoons long ago. We had an old fashioned wooden yellow bucket with a crank. Mom would make the ice cream and add strawberries to it. The kids would take turns sitting on the top of the crank while the Dad would crank away. Our little behinds would be frozen as the ice and rock salt froze the ice cream. Many memories of that old yellow ice cream maker. This recipe is an easy way of making it, whereas, mom cooked hers on the stove.
