1/4 cup white karo syrup
2 tbsp. water
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil until soft ball stage (use candy thermometer) Pour in well beaten egg whiles; add vanilla and beat until thick.

Grandma Clara Ready made this icing on many cakes. It is the best tasting icing and it very good.
