1/2 cup undiluted carnation milk, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1 package of chocolate chips (350 g), 2 tsp rum or liquor (coffee, orange, mint, almond, Bailey's)

Coating Options....coconut, hot chocolate mix, white icing sugar, finely chopped nuts.

In a small saucepan mix milk and sugar. Cook over a medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Boil for 3 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in rum or liqueur. Pour into a mixing bowl and chill in the fridge until cool enough to handle. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll balls into coating of choice. Cover and store at room temperature.

I made these every year at Christmas. I would start baking in November and often I would have to make a new batch because little fingers would get into the first batch. I am sure everyone will remember the phrase, "don't touch them. They're for Christmas."
