1 # veal steak, cut in 1" cubes.
1 # pork steak, cut in 1" cubes.
Salt & pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 C. water
Fine, dry bread crumbs or cracker meal
1/4 C. bacon drippings
1 C. beef or chicken stock
1/2 C. dry white wine
2 T. minced onion

Directions:
Directions:
Season meat. Alternate meats on skewers.
Dredge drumsticks with flour.
Dip in egg mixture with water.
Roll in bread crumbs.
Brown in bacon drippings.
Remove drumsticks and add flour to drippings and blend well.
Add stock and wine. Cook, stirring constantly, until gravy boils and thickens.
Add onion. Season to taste.
Return drumsticks to skillet. Cover and simmer gently about 1 hour or until meat is tender.
Loosen drumsticks occasionally - add water if necessary.
