2 C. sifted flour
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t each: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. butter
1 t. baking soda
1 C applesauce
1 egg, well beaten
1 C. chopped nuts
1 C. chopped raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt and spices.
Cream together butter and sugar.
Stir soda into applesauce. Add egg.
Combine with creamed mixture.
Gradually mix in dry ingredients.
Stir in nuts and raisins.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes
