1 1/2 cups butter
8 (1 oz.) squares semi sweet chocolate
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon water
2 teaspoons espresso powder
1 cup toasted chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 9" x 13" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium bowl combine butter and chocolate, microwave on high, in 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until chocolate is melted and smooth then cool slightly. In a large bowl, beat sugar and eggs at medium-high speed with electric mixer until fluffy. Gradually add flour, baking powder and salt to sugar mixture, beating until smooth. Stir in chocolate mixture until combined. In a small bowl combine water and espresso powder. Add to sugar mixture, beating until combined and then stir in pecans. Pour into prepared pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350º or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
