1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs together. Mix flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt together and add to creamed mixture. Roll batter into walnut size ball and roll into a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 to 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Bake in 400° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
