Cake:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup nuts
1/2 pound raisins

Filling:
2 cups sugar
2 lemons (juice and rind)
1 (14 oz.) bag of coconut
1 can crushed pineapple
3 teaspoons cornstarch

Cake:
Cream butter, sugar and eggs together. Combine flour, baking powder, allspice, cloves and cinnamon. Fold in nuts and raisins. Bake in 2 round greased cake pans at 350°.

Filling:
Mix sugar, lemon juice & rind, coconut and crushed pineapple together in pot. Let it come to a boil. Add the 3 teaspoons cornstarch. Cook until it drops from spoon. Use this between the layers of the cake and on the top.
