1 pint young okra
2 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 cup of milk
2 tablespoons melted margarine or butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Make batter by combining egg, milk and butter. Stir in baking powder and flour. Snip off ends of okra and dip in batter. Drop into deep hot (fat) oil until lightly browned. Drain and serve.
