1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 small packages frozen chopped broccoli
1 (6 oz.) package sharp cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Saltine cracker crumbs for topping

Directions:
Directions:
Saute celery and onion in butter until tender. Cook broccoli until tender-crisp (minimum amount of time). Drain well. Add cream of mushroom soup to sautéed celery and onion. Add cheese (cut or grated). Stir until cheese is melted. Add drained broccoli. (Garlic salt and small can of mushrooms, drained, may be added if desired.) Pour into buttered casserole dish and top with saltine cracker crumbs. Bake at 375° until bubbly, about 30 minutes. May be made 2 or 3 days before using. Do not bake until ready to serve.ººº
