1 to 2 pounds ground beef
1 roll Jimmy Dean hot sausage
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 to 3 stalks celery
1 large container V8 juice
2 cans crushed tomatoes
1 to 2 cans pinto beans
1 to 2 cans kidney beans
1 tablespoon or more Mexican dried cilantro
1 tablespoon sweet basil
1 to 2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
3 to 4 tablespoons Gebhardt's chili powder
2 cans chopped green chilies
Garlic salt
Pepper

Brown ground beef and hot sausage with onions and bell peppers, you can use celery if desired, drain well then put all together in large pot and cook.

Debby and her husband, John, brought a big pot of this wonderful chili to our hunting lodge at Camp Redwing. Ever since that cold snowy day, this is the only chili I ever make. It goes together so fast and it tastes like it has been cooking all day. Thanks Deb for sharing this one.
