1 pound hamburger
1 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon powdered chili powder, or cayenne
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Flour
Vegetable oil

MILK GRAVY
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon salt
Milk to make as thick or thin as you prefer

Directions:

Mix first 5 ingredients well and make patties about 2" round and 1/2" thick. Flour on both sides. Fry in vegetable oil. This is good with milk gravy. To make gravey, pour off all but about 2 tablespoons of fat. Add 1 tablespoon flour, 1 teaspoon salt and milk.
