1 pound ground beef
1 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped potatoes
2 cups tomato juice
1/3 cup flour
1 quart milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cooked the beef until color starts to turn. Add onions and peppers. Cook a few minutes. Stir in tomato juice, potatoes, carrots and seasonings. Cover and continue cooking over low heat until vegetables are tender, 20 to 25 minutes. Combine flour with 1 cup milk and beat until free of lumps. Stir into soup mixture. Add rest of milk and heat, stirring frequently. (Do not boil.)

This is a very good soup. It sounds really funny when you say cook the meat until it turns pink but that's the way she wrote the recipe. That's the way I'm putting all my recipes, the way it's written on the recipe card.
