6 dozen eggs
6 cups sugar
2 bottles bourbon
2 gallons of whipped cream
1/2 gallon milk

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs and beat the yolks until thick and creamy. Add 6 cups of sugar and beat well. Add two bottles of bourbon and beat well while combining, as it will cook the yolks. Beat the whites until soft peaks form. Whip the cream, but not too thick. Fold into eggs and bourbon. Taste test and add more sugar or bourbon if needed. Add a half gallon of milk so it is not too thick.

This eggnog recipe has been in the Cook family for generations. They make a big batch of this every Christmas Eve for special family and friends. We always look forward to their eggnog! Recipe was provided by Jimmy & Kathy Cook.
