9 lbs tomatoes (36 medium)
1 cup onion
3/4 cup green peppers
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp salt
1 1/2 cups vinegar
2 sticks cinnamon
1 tsp whole cloves
2 tsp whole allspice
1 1/2 tsp mustard seed
1 tsp salt

Cut vegetables into pieces and chop fine in food blender. Cook 20 minutes. Add sugar, salt and vinegar. Tie spices into a cheesecloth bag and add to mixture. Cook until thickened, about 1 hour. Remove the spice bag and fill into hot sterilized jars and seal. Yields 2 pints.
