3 lbs beef stew cut in 1 inch cubes
4 soup bones
1 can tomato sauce
1 large tomato
1 16 oz. jar whole beets
2 cans beef broth
1 jar sweet and sour cabbage
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1 cup lemon juice
1 cup Red Wine
1 cup raw sugar
salt and freshly ground pepper
1 cup carrots chopped
1 onion

Directions:
Directions:
Saute carrots and onions in about 2 tbsp. of oil. Put all ingredients in a large pot cook for 2 hours or until meat is tender. Add 1/2 cup water or more to dilute if to sour.

This recipe was found in Grandma Clara Ready's handwriting it must have been a soup made when she was growing up, but modified for modern convenience.
