3 cans frozen concentrated orange juice thawed
1 can water to equal 6 oz.
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
4 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour juice into large bowl and stir in sugar, corn syrup, lemon juice and salt. In another bowl beat 4 egg whites until stiff; fold egg whites into orange mixture until smooth. Fold in 2 cups cool whip thawed mixing thoroughly. Pour into 3 lb coffee can, cover with plastic lid and freeze about 4 hours.

Grandma Clara Ready loved to make ice cream. This is a sherbet and does not need to be cooked like some other ice creams. It is really delicious.
