5 medium potatoes (cubed
3/4 c. chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
3 carrots (sliced)
2 cup water
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
4 cups milk
2 cubes chicken bouillon
2 cups grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Add all vegetables, 2 cup water and salt. Bring to a boil cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Meanwhile, melt butter in med saucepan. Add flour and pepper and 1 tsp salt. Cook until smooth and bubbly. Gradually add milk and dissolved bouillon cubes. Cook and stir until mixture thickens. Stir into vegetables. Add grated cheese stirring occasionally until cheese is melted.
