1 1/4 lb hamburger cooked
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup carrots cut in small pieces
1 quart milk
2 TLB butter
minces parsley
1/3 cup flour dissolved in 1 cup milk
1 cup onions, chopped
1 cup potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 cups tomato juice
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup green pepper (optional)

Brown hamburger lightly. Cook onions, celery and green pepper in butter. Cook potatoes and carrots in salted water. Drain. Add hamburger and tomato juice. Bring to boil than add flour paste and boil. Add milk, but to not boil, simmer until warm. (milk will curdle if boiled)
