1 pkg. lime gelatin
1 cup hot water
1/2 pkg. of 8 oz. cream cheese
1 tbsp. salad dressing (Miracle Whip)
1 cup crushed Pineapple
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Pour 1 cup hot water in mixing bowl; add lime gelatin and stir until jelly like; watch carefully as it sets quickly. Whip with electric mixer.

In separate bowl cream the cream cheese with the salad dressing; whip whipping cream until stiff; add mixture to gelatin and beat until is is all mixed.

Fold in drained pineapples and chopped nuts.
Chill until set well.

Fold in drained crushed pineapple and nuts; let set and chill well.

This recipe was one of Grandma Anna (George) Ready's favorite dishes. It is wonderful with a main meal or even as a dessert. Every summer Barbara (Ready) Coan would make this recipe with her. The recipe was sent to Barbara while corresponding with her grandmother. She cherishes the time spent with her and all those special memories.
