4 egg yolks[slightly beaten]
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk
2 Tbsp. rum

Directions:
Directions:
Mix egg yolks, sugar & salt in heavy saucepan. Stir in milk gradually. Cook over low heat just until mixture coats a metal spoon. Remove from heat & add rum. Cool.

This custard sauce is delicious served over fresh fruit. May also use artificial flavoring if desired instead of Rum.
