1/4 lb. butter (not margarine!)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add eggs and cornmeal and blend thoroughly.
3. Add flour, baking powder and salt.
4. Bake at 375º for 35 minutes in a greased pan.
