2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2/3 c. milk
sprinkle cinnamon
6 apples grated or sliced thinly
6 T. granulated sugar

Sauce

1 c. brown sugar firmly packed
2 c. hot water
1 T. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put flour baking powder and salt into bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add milk to form a ball, roll into 12X14 inch rectangle. Sprinkle with cinnamon and then cover with apple, sprinkle with granulated sugar then another sprinkle of cinnamon. . Starting with the long side, roll like a jelly roll. Cut into 1-11/2 inch slices and place cut side down into large baking pan with sides. Mix sauce ingredients together and pour over the slices. Bake at 350º F for 40 minutes.
