Standing Rib Roast w/bone in

Directions:
Put roast in roasting pan with low sides, like 2 inches high. Sprinkle meat with salt, pepper & garlic salt. Do not add water. Do not cover.
Set oven to 350º and roast according to your taste of rare, med rare, etc. Use a meat thermometer if you need to but it usually needs about 20 minutes per pound. You can make gravy by using cornstarch mixed with water and stir into the roasting pan. scraping all the goodies from the bottom of the pan. I can't tell you how much cornstarch because I don't know how thick you like the gravy. Trial and error. If it's too thin mix some more and add to gravy.
