2 cups 100% Bran
1 cup shortening
Boil 2 cup water and pour over above. Microwave until shortening melts
2 cup sugar
1 quart sour milk (1 quart (4 cups) milk, ¼ cup removed, ¼ cup lemon juice)

5 cup flour
2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Mix in LARGE mixer. Cover and put in fridge – it will keep for a month. When you want muffins, spoon into muffin tins just the number of muffins you want and put the rest back in the fridge. Bake at 450 degrees 10 minutes. I like to have a muffin for breakfast so I put about 3 tablespoons of mix in a styrofoam cup and microwave it for 45 seconds – and I have just one muffin for me!
