Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mom made this for my 13th birthday and my friends loved it. She told me the secret to the recipe was the sugar! Now, my 2-year old Granddaughter, Emma, loves to help me make "Sketti", as she calls it. She grunts and pushes until she finally gets a chair over to the stove, climbs up, and then asks me to get her pink spatula so she can stir. She is convinced this goulash is so good because of her pink spatula. I don’t know whether it is my Mother or Emma who holds the “secret” but I do know that this recipe holds many special memories of those two, even though they are generations apart.
