Cake:

1 Cup Danish Butter
2 Cups Sugar
6 Eggs
2 Cups plus 3 Tbsp. of Flour
Large dash of salt (about 1/8 tsp.)
1/4 Rum (Cruzan Rum Gold)
1 Tsp of Vanilla

Rum Sauce:

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp white corn syrup
1/2 cup Rum
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar...add eggs slowly beating.
Add Flour and salt
Add Rum and Vanilla

Bake in 2 quart pan or in traditional bundt style pan for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 300º.

Sauce:

Bring sugar, water and syrup to a boil. Remove from heat, then add rum and vanilla. Pour over cake, while still warm. Serve.
