1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Karo light corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup raw shelled peanuts
1 Tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, syrup and salt. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Stir in peanuts. Microwave for 6 more minutes, stirring after 3 and 5 minutes, or until the mixture is lightly brown. Stir in butter and vanilla. Finally, rapidly stir in soda and quickly pour onto buttered cookie sheet. Allow to harden, then break into pieces.
