3 cakes yeast (mix with milk)
1 tsp Salt
5 lbs Flour
12 oz Butter (3 cubes, melted)
6 Eggs, beaten
1 ½ tsp Cinnamon
1 ½ tsp Nutmeg
1 ½ tsp mace
2 tbsp Orange rind, grated
1 qrt Warm Milk
1 cup sugar
Egg Wash
1 egg
1 tbsp water
Icing
1½ cups Powdered Sugar
2 tbsp Milk
1Tbsp Corn Syrup
2 tsp soft Butter
1 tsp lemon extract

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees and set oven racks on 2nd from bottom level.
Butter hands and pans.
Place flour in your largest bowl, make an opening in the center of th flour and place all ingredients in it. Mix well to make a thick dough. Knead well. Add flour if needed.
Cover with warm damp towel and leave in a warm oven. Let rise for an hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down dough and let rise, until doubled in size again.
Cut into three sections, roll into three stings of dough. Braid the strings together.
Beat 1 egg and tsp water well. Brush each loaf with the egg wash. Sprinkle sesame seeds on loaves and add almonds, pecans or walnuts.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40–45 minutes.
Icing - Beat ingredients until well combined.
Drizzle over warm bread.
