12 slices bread
1 1/4 cup sugar (divided 1 cup and 1/4 cup)
1 - 13 oz evaporated milk
2 cups milk
1/2 cup raisins ( 3 1/2 oz boxes)
1 tsp. vanilla
4 egg yolks
1/3 cup melted butter
4 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Break bread into small pieces in a mixing bowl with 1 cup sugar, evaporated milk, 2 cups milk, vanilla, egg yolk and melted butter. Mix well. Add raisins and pour into a 9X13 greased pan.
Bake in a pre-heated oven 350º for 30-40 minutes or until set.

Beat egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar until stiff. Cover pudding with meringue and bake about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!!!!!!
