2 lb. fresh asparagus
1 1/2 T. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 T. rice vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. sesame oil

Directions:
Directions:
Blanch asparagus in rapidly boiling water until just tender. ( About 7 to 9 minutes) Drain and immerse in ice water to keep color. Drain and pat dry and set aside. In a large bowl combine all ingredients. An hour before serving add asparagus to marinade. Toss and chill until ready to serve.
