3 c flour
1/3 c sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
11/2 cold butter cubed
1 c whipping cream
1 egg lightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven 350º
Combine flour, sugar, powder, soda, and salt. Add cold butter cubes and work butter in with finger tips, until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in choice,of flavorings(chocolate chips, berries, etc.)
Pour in cream and beaten egg, toss mixture until soft, shaggy dough forms.( if dough is to dry add a bit more cream one tablespoon at a time.) Gather dough into a circle about 1/2 inch thick then cut into 8 wedges.
Bake at 350º for about 20 min or until golden brown and firm to the touch.

My sister in law saw this on KUTV it is so good With any meal or dessert depending on what you add for the flavorings. My kids love chocolate chips.
