2 cups sugar
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt
2 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, and salt and cover. Microwave on High Power for 5 minutes, stir well. Microwave, uncovered, High Power for 3 -4 minutes until hard ball forms, when a small amount is dropped into cold water. Cool 3-4 minutes.

Beat egg whites until very still, pour in sugar mixture in a steady stream. Beat constantly until mixture holds its shape and starts to lose its gloss. Add vanill and nuts. Drop onto waxed paper by tsp.
