1/2 c. milk
2 T. butter
1 T. grated orange rind
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. light molasses
1 pkg yeast
3/4 c. warm water
1 egg
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk, butter, orange rind and salt to scalding. Remove from heat and add molasses, cool to luke warm. Dissolve yeast in warm water, add milk mixture, egg and 2 c. flour, blend at low speed of mixer, then beat at med. speed for 2 minutes. Add remaining flour and raisins, beat 1 min, batter will be soft. Cover and let rise until double, about 45 min. Stir down, turn into greased 5.9 loaf pan, cover and let rise until double. Bate at 375 degrees for 45 min or untill done. Romove from pan and cool on rack.
